Jeremy is good for ,guts to do something different to most of the mix CDs around at that time by sticking his neck out with his experimental mixing style even if sometimes it didn't work out too well. When this was new it was a big favourite of mine and back then with little else to compare it to I took it at face value. Jeremy Healy and Allister Whitehead aren't as popular now as they were in the 90's but this cd is Dance Music Gold. The Phoenix’ just because it has this big room filling sound, then opens up into a beach party all of its own, it’s like dark chocolate with a strawberry fondant centre.The limited edition version originally came with a and spiky black PVC armband with the Fantazia Logo in the middle.

Highlights for me are track 8 ‘Bumper’ a moody trance track that got a lot of car time, track 13 ‘Legends Of The Dark Part2’ the best remix of ‘Renegade Master’ ever! My opening statement could easily be misinterpreted but I mean it in the positive sense so I will explain. I bought this one for my Christmas box through the Metro Centre in Newcastle if I remember correctly and it was the real catalyst for getting me into clubland and house music. Graham Park was bang on form on this one, Luvdup spinning some corkers and working those decks to the max. Featuring artists that defied genres and the underground/overground such as Leftfield, Living Joy, Wildchild and Inner City. Many underground venues and DJ nights also took place across the UK, such as the private parties hosted by an early Miss Moneypenny's contingent in Birmingham and many London venues. Track 1-17 is shown as 'Tall And Handsome' on the sleeve and inlay, the correct track title has been included here.As I said this is a positive thing as it gives you in one disc a nostalgic trip through clubland in the mid 90’s I would say better than any of those cheesy retrospective cash cow TV ad compilations ever could, mainly because this mix is authentic and actually of the time, rather than looking back at it. Well at least AH can restrain himself sticking with uplifting vocal (soul + choir in places) piano house pretty much throughout, it makes reviewing so much easier!
