About this deal

I remember this date solely because I had just been taken into hospital following a potentially life threatening bout of appendicitis, so my memories of a lot of these songs remind me of not being well, woozy on IVs and crying at really random things (Athlete on disc 2 in particular. Well I knew this Now album came out just in time for Easter, but I hadn't realised it was on this date. Due to the higher cost of pressing vinyl and the limited time they are available, they are at least three times more expensive than their compact disc counterparts. The Now Yearbook series continues both forwards, with Now Yearbook 1985 issued in November 2022, and backwards, with the release of Now Yearbook 1979 in September 2022 (an Extra followed in October). McFly (the far superior of the two Comic Relief tracks on here, and a well deserved third number one for the lads.

Tracks with an asterisk (*) next to their title have also been included in special releases from the series. November 2020) David Bowie, Patti Labelle and Michael McDonald, and the Real Roxanne are the tracks that are missing. The sounds on this beat are quite unique to The Chemical Brothers, and this was another flawless single they released.UK series, comprising: compact discs (CD), magnetic audio cassettes (AC), vinyl ( LP), VHS tape, DVD, and on other short-lived formats.

The first sixteen volumes were all released on the same date, with the final four being issued four months later. Despite Darius – Live Twice being my second fave of course, I went with Stereophonics - Dakota, definitely a big anthem and my fave Stereophonics song! These were all released on CD and magnetic cassette, but with the 1993 and 1994 volumes also being released on the vinyl format. Towards the end of the series, 3-CD digipak sets were issued, but in 2010, the long-running title was retired, and all subsequent dance-themed Now collections have been issued under the Special Editions series.People who like the Wu already know where to go for that and it's not usually a compilation CD featuring music by Spears. They all vary from one to five disc compilations (occasionally six disc), starting in 1986 and continuing to the present day (Jan 2023). Not to mention Radio 1 had by this point got the God awful JK and Joel on to do the chart show, who made a point of talking all over/laughing at new entries outside the top 20 that weren't on the Radio 1 playlist in a worrying display of incompetence.

An earlier compilation tie-in with Smash Hits from 1987 did, however, include tracks from those years. David Bowie's early 'The Laughing Gnome' is celebrated, as is the King, Elvis Presley, with the hugely successful 'Wooden Heart'.The tie-in television programmes are a month by month video playlist of tracks, from one year previously featured on a Now Yearbook album, with Bruno Brookes presenting.

Since the release of Now 102 in Easter 2019, the corresponding Now album from 100 volumes ago has been re-compiled and re-issued on 2-CD sets on the same day. The year 1984 followed, but after this, the series rewound its year of focus, issuing collections that went from 1982 and backwards into the late 1970s. Beginning CD1 with the decade defining ‘Give Peace A Chance’ from one of the biggest cultural icons of the last century - John Lennon (with Yoko Ono). July 2019) re-issued on 2-CD - 28 tracks with only Bob Marley and the Wailers and Gary Glitter missing. All series with the exception of United Kingdom and the United States have been discontinued, New Zealand had two more albums released as a playlist only on Spotify, South Africa had three more albums released as a playlist on Spotify under DJ Kurtis.

On CD 1, I went with Soul Central ft Kathy Brown - Strings Of Life (Stronger On My Own) - great violiny funky house tune following on the trend from the Shapeshifters' Lola's Theme.
