About this deal

Velma is determined to wipe not only Robodog off the planet but every other dog in Bedlam, and suddenly every villain has escaped from Bedlam Prison. The aluminium sheeting helps to keep food fresh and cool, while the plastic body is durable and sturdy.

The Police Chief is stressed out as she can’t seem to get ahead of it, and the entire city is now suffering. The Chief turns to the Professor with an ingenious idea: a single dog that can aid in different police activities; a robot dog “Robodog”. Adam Stower is an author and illustrator, who has collaborated with David Walliams on several of his books for children. Another wonderful book from David Walliams, with a great storyline and really interesting and fun characters especially ratty, would love to read more of robodog and ratty's adventures, accompanied by gorgeous illustrations. All of these elements are perfect for Middle-Grade readers and entertaining for us older readers as well. As much as I agree this is wholesome and sweet , it doesn’t have the charm of his initial books , I’ve already noticed a shift in the writing style and the illustrator , but I wanted to complete all of his work , atleast at the time I discovered him and I’m glad it’s all off my tbr. I love that the Professor and the Chief were married because the people in the books I have read who have been married to each other have been husband and wife, so it was fun to read about a wife and a wife. Supercharged and ready for action and adventure, can Robodog stop the most feared criminal duo in Bedlam and thwart their evil plans to destroy the city?

Best-known for his novels for children including Mr Stink, Billionaire Boy and Awful Auntie, Walliams has also written a number of picture books including The Slightly Annoying Elephant, working with two of Britain’s most talented illustrators, Quentin Blake and Tony Ross. I loved that Plank was so silly, I think if Plank could get a medal for anything it would be for being silly. He took up swimming in his youth because he was overweight, and has subsequently completed long distance swims of the English Channel, the Strait of Gibraltar and the River Thames, raising millions of pounds for charity! Robodog is the action-packed comic caper with cats, dogs and robots and set in a world of superheroes and supervillains.
